Why is the blanket 2.75m when my cabana is only 2.4m?
Great question! We designed the Clover Beach blanket to be slightly oversized (2.75m x 2.75m) to account for the "give" of soft sand. When you set your cabana legs onto the sand and set up your gear, a 2.4m mat or smaller would end up feeling too tight or not reach the edges of your cabana at all. Our extra 35cm of "wiggle room" ensures the blanket stays taut and perfectly covers the entire footprint of your shade without pulling at the corners.
Does this blanket fit a CoolCabana?
Yes! Our blankets are the perfect companion for both Large (2.4m) and Medium (2m) CoolCabanas, as well as other major brands.
For 2.4m Cabanas: Use our innovative "flip-up" anchor pockets. They slide right over the sand-filled feet of your cabana for a seamless, wind-proof fit.
For 2m Cabanas or Umbrellas: Simply "flip-down" the corner pockets and fill them with sand. This creates a massive, stable "verandah" area for your gear while keeping you completely covered under your shade.
Does it have a hole for a beach cabana or umbrella?
It sure does. Every blanket features a reinforced central hole designed to fit standard beach umbrellas and central-pole cabanas. This allows you to anchor your shade through the blanket, keeping everything locked in place even on breezy days.
Is the blanket actually "Sand-Free"?
Yes. We use a high-tech, silky-smooth recycled fabric that sand simply cannot grip. Unlike traditional cotton towels that trap sand in the fibers, a quick shake of a Clover Beach mat and the sand slides right off. You can finally leave the beach at the beach!
How heavy is it to carry?
Despite being massive (2.75m!), our blanket is ultra-lightweight, weighing in at only 780g. It packs down into a compact matching carry bag (no folding expertise required!) making it easy to toss into your beach tote or under the stroller.
How do I wash my Clover Beach blanket?
Easy! Just a cold machine wash on a gentle cycle. We recommend hanging it to dry in the shade or tumble drying on low heat. Our high-tech fabric is ultra-quick drying, so it won’t take long!
